A '72 Tele Custom-inspired hybrid with two chrome-covered humbuckers and independent volume/tone pairs. The oldest Vintage Modified instrument of all: listed under a "Vintage Modified" pricelist heading from August 2003 — four years before the VM series officially launched. Not to be confused with the 2013 Telecaster Custom (Wide Range humbucker + single-coil).
