What made this run special
Specs on the official page are byte-identical between the Aug 2012 and Jan 2013 archived captures — no drift detected, treated as one run. Listed unchanged (all four colors, $499.99) in the 2013, 2014 and 2015 pricelists; discontinuation date not yet established, so the end year is deliberately left open. Factory attribution (Cor-Tek Indonesia) rests on community ICS-serial reports, hence not marked verified on that axis.
What changed
New model: joined the Vintage Modified line July 2012 alongside VM Telecaster Deluxe/Custom, Jazzmaster and Mustang. All four colors (incl. Surf Green) available from launch.
